This is a USATF sanctioned event with a certified course. (USATF course #OK-11041-DG)

 

The Start & Finish will be at the east entrance of Fuqua Park, 14th & Ash streets, Duncan, OK.

 

Thank you for participating in the 4th annual Founder’s Day 5K/1 Mile Benefit Run and supporting the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.  Proceeds from this run will be donated to the National MS Society (NMSS) to help support cutting edge MS research, drive change through advocacy, facilitate professional education and provide programs and services to help people with

MS and their families move their lives forward.  As you run/walk our courses, please imagine over 21,000 Oklahomans that are affected by MS giving you a hug, handshake, high five, and a huge THANK YOU for contributing to help free the world of Multiple Sclerosis.

 

Race day registration and packet pick-up will be at the Rock Island 905 Railroad Museum, located within

Fuqua Park, south end of park. (Note: No left-hand turn is allowed from southbound Hwy 81 at Oak. If you are coming from the north, turn left onto Beech and use the north park entrance on Beech.)

 

REGISTRATION/CHECK-IN and packet pick up begins at 6:30 a.m. and ends 30 minutes prior to race/run start time.

 

1 Mile Fun Run/Walk starts at 7:30 a.m.

Cost: $10.00 (T-shirt not included). Participants that are pre-registered by June 7 are guaranteed a participation medal.  Strollers allowed only on 1 mile course. No pets. Participation medal guaranteed to those pre-registered by June 7.

 

5K Race start: 8:00 a.m.

Cost: $20.00 ($25.00 after June 7). T-shirt only guaranteed to be included if registration is received by June 7, 2013.  No strollers, pets, or baby joggers. 5K participants must finish no later than 9:30 a.m.

 

Chip timing by Race Day Event Services.

 

5k Overall Male and Female Awards. Medals given to top three finishers in each division. Must be present to win door prizes.  Standard Male and Female Divisions for 5K:

8-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over

 

Special award will be given to the organization/business that has the most team members for the 5k. *
